This mango green smoothie recipe is so easy and delicious. I have to admit this is my first time using a lot of these ingredients in a smoothie and man I’m glad I did!
This recipe has 5 ingredients and takes about 5 minutes to make.
The base of this smoothie is hemp milk. But not the kind you buy at the store. You actually make it yourself. Sounds fancy right? It’s not. All you need is 1 tablespoon of hemp seeds, and water. Blend it until it makes milk. It’s as simple as that. Store bought nut/seed milk typically has a lot of added artificial ingredients and preservatives.
Don’t freak out about the avocado… I thought it was weird at first, but it is the best addition to my smoothie! It makes it so creamy and adds a lot of nutrition. Avocados are full of fat and has 20 vitamins and minerals. The fat in the avocado helps you to absorb many vitamins and minerals that your body needs. They make you feel satisfied and full… and they taste so good! Win!
It tastes fresh and tropical.
- 2 tbsp hemp seed
- 1 cup water
- ¼ avocado
- 1 cup frozen mango cubes
- 1 cup frozen kale
- 1 banana
- Pour hemp seed and water into blender.
- Blend until milk is made.
- Add the rest of ingredients.
- Blend until desired consistency.
